Axis Insurance Managers

Axis Insurance Managers (formerly Winram Insurance) was established over 60 years ago in Vancouver.  In 1999 the firm was purchased by Tony Davis and a new era of growth began.  The company now has five locations in British Columbia, one in Whitehorse, Yukon, one in Alberta and more on the planning board.  Clive Bird joined the firm as co-owner in 2004 and brought much additional expertise in specialty commercial insurance from his broad experience both in the Lloyd's of London market and later with one of the world's leading commercial insurance brokerages.

In 2005 the company was re-branded Axis Insurance Managers, a name reflecting the company's core philiosophy, namely: "our customers are the centre of all that we do."

Axis' broad range of insurance products include Transit Insurance covering business property and inventory while being transported to and from various locations and Exhibition Floater Insurance covering business property used at a trade show or convention.
